WHO ARE RECYCLE AND WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT

Recycle York has been in the second-hand bike game since 2011 and is widely seen as one of the pioneers in doing it properly. Each year we recycle around 5,000 bikes, giving them a second life and keeping them out of landfill. All bikes are sold directly from our York store, with kids’ bikes starting from £20 and adult bikes from £50.

Every bike is fully serviced before it leaves us and comes with a three-month warranty for peace of mind. We always carry a strong, varied selection of bikes for all ages and riding styles. Alongside sales, we give back to the community by donating over 100 bikes every year to charities and local organisations across Yorkshire.

At Recycle York, we do more than sell bikes. Our workshop covers everything from everyday repairs to full restorations, keeping bikes in use and out of landfill. We buy bikes directly, recycle what we can, and return usable parts back into circulation. Alongside complete bikes, we stock a solid range of parts and accessories, plus trade deals for organisations and partners.
