The 2022 Haibike AllTrail 4 is a proper full-suspension electric mountain bike designed to take the sting out of the climbs without taking the fun out of coming back down. It’s a cracking choice for trail centres, woodland riding and longer off-road adventures where a bit of electric assistance means squeezing a few more runs into the day.

At the heart of the bike is a Yamaha PW Series ST motor, delivering smooth pedal assistance when you need it. Once the trail starts pointing downhill, the combination of an SR Suntour XCR 34 fork and SR Suntour Edge rear shock gives you full-suspension control over rougher and more technical terrain.

It rolls on 27.5-inch wheels with Rodi 30mm rims, giving the bike a nimble and confidence-inspiring setup. Gearing is kept refreshingly straightforward with a Shimano Deore rear derailleur and 1×11-speed drivetrain – plenty of usable range without a front derailleur getting involved in proceedings.
