This is a Bob Jackson touring road bike built from Reynolds 531 Competition tubing — a frame material renowned for its strength, comfort, and timeless ride quality. At 54cm, it’s a great size for many riders and a solid base for a classic road or light touring rebuild.
The bike is fitted with a full Shimano 105 2×8 groupset, a proven and much-loved setup from the era, along with a Brooks B17 leather saddle, which alone holds strong value and is highly sought after by touring and classic bike enthusiasts.
Wheel-wise, it’s running a Mavic rear rim and Wolber front rim, both well-regarded names in traditional road and touring circles.
