Nukeproof Giga Carbon – A Big Bike Built for Big Days

The Nukeproof Giga isn’t exactly designed for a gentle pootle around the park. This is a proper long-travel enduro machine, built for riders who like steep descents, rough trails, bike parks and generally pointing a mountain bike at things that look like a bad idea.

This XXL example rolls on 29-inch Sun Ringle Duroc rims, giving it plenty of rollover capability when the trail gets rough. They’re wrapped in Maxxis Minion DHR II tyres, a proven choice when grip and control matter more than shaving a few grams.

There’s plenty of suspension underneath you too. Up front sits a burly RockShox Domain fork, while a RockShox Super Deluxe rear shock handles duties at the back. Combined with the Giga’s aggressive platform, you’ve got a bike that’s far happier hammering down technical terrain than sitting pretty in the garage.

The drivetrain mixes a Race Face crankset with a Shimano Deore rear derailleur and a straightforward 1×12-speed setup. SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes take care of slowing everything back down when you’ve got a little too enthusiastic.
