R-evolution started October 2014, becoming a UK registered charity 6th January 2015. The concept began by giving prison workers an opportunity gain cycle mechanic training by working on local donors’ bikes to refurbish them, which would then be distributed into the community.
Our purple gazebo and team of mechanics and volunteers can often be spotted all around the Humber and even up to Bridlington, helping people get back into cycling through free cycle repairs, loans and training.
All of our bikes are now sold at our Trinity Market Cycle Hub in Hull or on SHIFTA. You can pop in during our open hours or call our onsite mechanic on 07869 680 943.
We will do our best to hold a bike, but don’t worry if it sells!! we have plenty of other bikes available.
We take both card and cash.
We always have a good mix of bikes coming through but never know what will be here from one day to the next. We try to list all our bikes on Shifta. Give us a call on 07869 680 943 for the quickest response.
We do not accept electric bikes as donations or sell them due to concerns about the safety and quality of the batteries, which we cannot guarantee.

We recycle hundreds of bikes every year, stripping usable parts and reducing waste wherever possible.
Bikes can be donated at the Bransholme workshop, ERYC Depot (Beverley), Driffield Showground, Bridlington Foreshores Office, Trinity Market or Hull University.
Yes we will. We accept bike donations in any condition, including kids bikes.
Our qualified mechanics service each bike with love and care. Our bikes leave the workshop to the highest of standards.
