Hi, I’m Tyler, founder of T77BMX.
Like many riders, BMX started as a hobby that quickly became a huge part of my life. I began buying,
repairing and customising BMX bikes from my parents’ garden to help fund trips to ride skateparks and
competitions across the UK and Europe.
When an injury stopped me riding as much as I wanted, I threw myself into another side of BMX that I’d
always enjoyed—building bikes. What started as a way of staying connected to the sport gradually grew
into T77BMX.
My parents’ loft became my first workshop, where I spent countless evenings restoring bikes, learning new
skills and helping local riders. As more people discovered my work, the workshop continued to grow, first
into a storage unit and eventually into the dedicated workshop we operate from today.
The journey has never really been about building a bike shop. It’s been about staying involved in BMX,
meeting great people and helping riders enjoy the sport as much as I do.
BMX has given me so much over the years, so giving something back has always been important.
We’ve organised community BMX events, supported local jams and spent time volunteering as BMX
coaches to help introduce new riders to the sport.
Today we’re proud to support grassroots BMX events such as Stoke Park Jam in Basingstoke, helping local
riders and encouraging the growth of projects that aim to create even better opportunities for future
generations.
For us, BMX has always been about community as much as bikes.

What began as simple repair videos has grown into a community of hundreds of thousands of BMX riders
across YouTube and Instagram, with repair videos, restorations and custom builds reaching millions of
people around the world.
The content has opened some incredible opportunities, but for me it’s always been about sharing the
enjoyment of BMX, inspiring people to ride, helping others repair their own bikes and showing that every
bike has a story worth telling.
The workshop will always come first—the videos simply allow us to share that passion with more people.
